(1) The European Zoree is composed of

2 Chief Inspectors and 1 Chief Detective Inspector at £600 rising by annual incremente of 225 to £700.

18 Inspectors, at 2475, rising by annual increments

of 280 to 2535.

36 Sub-Inspectors, at £370, rising by annual

increments of £15 to £430.

44 Sergeants at £260, rising by two annual increments

of 120 and five of £10 to £350.

149 Constables and Lance Bergeants at 190, rising

by snnual increments of £10 to £240.

Of the above 2 Sub-Inspectors, 3 Sergeants, and

23 Lance Sergeants and Constables are employed in the

Fater Zolioe, and do duty in Steam Launches and boats

in the Harbour and outside it.

(E) Allowances for knowledge of languages are granted

as follow 8 : –

Knowledge of Chinese.
